Vantage were asked by creative technology experts Kerve to build a giant Rubik’s Cube made from Layher scaffold, to promote Huawei’s latest phone, the Mate Pro 20, which boasts 24-megapixel pictures and clever artificial intelligence features. The cube was unveiled at the Southbank and wowed the public who were invited to complete the giant cube, with help from the new Pro 20 phone. Due to the phone’s advanced neural processing unit (NPU), contestants were given hints on how to complete the cube and those who completed the cube quickest with fewest hints, were lucky enough to walk away with a Mate Pro 20 handset.
The British Masters Golf Tournament, one of the leading tournaments on the European Tour was founded as the Dunlop Masters in 1946 and has been held almost every year since then. Every year it moves around the UK and this year the tournament will be held at Walton Heath Golf Club in Surrey which has previously hosted The Ryder Cup and European Open.
Plymouth Hoe, the city’s natural harbour, was taken over by MTV Ocean City Sounds (26-27 July 2018) for the biggest music festival in the south east of England, with Pete Tong, Professor Green and Plymouth based indie group Bastille entertaining thousands of festival goers.
This year we were part of the team asked to create a Living Wall which would display moth orchids and flamingo flowers at RHS Chatsworth. The orchid planting and plumage was left to the experts but we started the project off by providing the scaffold tower and ply-boards, which formed the base of this elegant flower installation.
